Applying For Wireless Network Access (For
Mac users)

Schools Students (NOTE: registration and confirmation must be done on campus)

Determine your unique
AirPort ID number, which is a twelve character string
composed of the numbers 0 to 9 and the letters A to F:

Click on the Apple
Menu
on
the top of your screen.

Click System Preferences. The
System Preferences window opens. If the above procedure does not apply
to your mobile computing device, please consult your operating
system's manual.

Under Internet &
Network, click the Network icon. The Network
window opens.

Click the AirPort
tab.

Take note of the twelve
character string beside AirPort ID:. This is your unique
AirPort ID.

From a web browser in an open access
lab computer on campus, open the following web page:
https://cng-db.ateneo.net/wireless/index.html

Enter the required information.
NOTE: Only currently enrolled students will be allowed to register.
Only one wireless LAN card per user is allowed.

Upon successful registration, you will
receive an email with instructions on how to confirm your
registration and activate access for your registered wireless LAN
card.
NOTE: You need to confirm your registration within three days of
receiving the instructions by email.

Configure your proxy settings:

You will be able to access the
wireless network only by using your registered wireless LAN card.
If you replace your LAN card for some reason, please proceed to the
CNG office at Faber 311 and bring a valid ID and the MAC address of
your new wireless LAN card.
